If you require a special solution to meet unique project circumstances, we can also configure the system to help you meet them.
2. BS8610:2017 accredited
The T DAVIT for Rope Access system is the first of its kind in Europe and the UK to have BS8610:2017 accreditation. This means that the structural anchor system along with its corresponding and appropriate base materials have undergone and passed rigorous safety testing, with a notified body performing witness-tests.
As the T DAVIT for Rope Access system is also accredited to EN795:2021, you can always have peace of mind that safety will never be compromised whenever you use this system for rope access and fall arrest applications.
3. Suitable for numerous applications
One of the things we pride ourselves on here at REID Lifting UK is the flexibility of our products. Each of them can be adapted to suit a wide range of scenarios, and the T DAVIT for Rope Access is no different. It has been certified to BS6810:2017 for the following working scenarios:
Restrain
Fall arrest
Rope access and work positioning
Rescue accompanied descent
Rescue remotely operated
Evacuation
4. Quick to assemble with no tools required
2 people can quickly assemble this lightweight, portable system without the use of tools, making this a quick and convenient solution for working at height. This also means more time can be spent working.
5. Can be transported with ease
Transporting the T DAVIT for Rope Access system is just as easy as putting it together and dismantling it, thanks to an innovative, 2-piece design. Therefore, it can be easily moved to where it’s required without taking too much time out of the working day.
6. Rated up to 150kg
This exceptionally strong aluminium lifting system offers a maximum system rating of 150kg when being used for 1 person for rope access. One variant is specifically designed for rescue accompanied descent; when this is the case, the maximum system rating is 230kg for 2 users. This ensures its suitability to a wide range of rope access and fall arrest scenarios.
7. Suitable for operator levels and rescue scenarios
The T DAVIT for Rope Access is a highly customisable system. Its universal kingpin is suitable for use with several different sockets and bases:
Steel top mount socket – allows for bolting the system into existing concrete or steel structures, or through fixing in other substrates.
Steel side mount socket – allows the system to be mounted onto the side of concrete or steel structures.
PORTABASE Counterbalance – allows for personnel lifting of up to 300kg and becomes a highly portable rope access solution.
As it’s so highly configurable, it’s suitable for operator levels and rescue scenarios. All you need to do is tell us what you need it for and we will supply it in the most suitable configuration for your requirements.
8. Outstanding durability and resistance to rust
As it’s built from marine grade aluminium, it’s one of the lightest, strongest and most durable systems currently available. Anodised and powder coated finishes are also applied to the aluminium surface, further bolstering corrosion resistance. This ensures it can easily withstand years of heavy weather exposure without rusting.
9. 360° rotation for safe and convenient operation
In order to allow for safe inboard assembly and user attachment, the T DAVIT for Rope Access can be rotated 360°. This further improves its safety and makes operating it even more convenient.
10. Ideal when greater reach or taller columns are required
Available with a maximum column height and reach of 2100mm and 1600mm respectively, it’s the ideal solution for rope access applications requiring a taller column or greater reach.
11. IRATA ICOP accredited
The Industrial Rope Access Trade Association’s International Code of Practice (ICOP) is the industrial rope access industry standard for working safely at height. So, when the T DAVIT for Rope Access system is used for rope access work, you can rest assured that it meets the highest safe-operating standards.
