The PORTA GANTRY RAPIDE is one of our most popular and versatile mobile gantry cranes, which leads the field in terms of strength, safety, and performance. The PORTA GANTRY RAPIDE has some great features which make it ideal for goods lifting applications. These include:

  1. Manufactured from marine grade aluminium – The PORTA GANTRY RAPIDE is constructed from aluminium which is anodised to provide a quality surface finish and a good level of corrosion resistance for even the harshest environments. This makes the gantry suitable for ATEX (explosive) environments [ATEX Zone 2 is standard, Zone 1 can be achieved with a simple upgrade].

  2. Height Adjustment – Each gantry A-frame has an incremental 100mm height adjustment range. Between 5 and 9 adjustment points can be used depending on the size of the frame. The PORTA GANTRY RAPIDE A-frames come with manual height adjustment.

  3. Easily transportable system – Each gantry comes with integrated carry straps, a handle and a transport wheel which makes moving the system around a worksite comfortable and easy, even for a single person. The system also has swivel locking castors, enabling you to easily move the gantry into position when fully assembled.

  4. Gated Trolley options and Winch capable – We offer two patented gated trolley options, a close coupled which is designed for applications where you need a maximum height of lift or a master link version if you prefer the convenience of a larger opening for a variety of hoist or lifting devices. The gated trolleys enable these to be put on and taken off the gantry after it has been assembled which allows for more than one to be added to the beam. Learn more about our accessories here.

  5. Materials handling capacity of up to 1000kg – The comes in a wide range of sizes with capacity ratings from 250kg through to 1000kg. The gantry WLL is determined by the A-frame size and beam length.

This system can also be used as a dual-use system where it can be used to lift equipment and be used as in personnel applications, making it the ideal solution for confined space access tasks.
