Greener packaging
In 2020, REID Lifting launched it’s new cleaner and greener cardboard packaging for our aluminium Gantry and Davit lifting systems.
Inline with our aim to eliminate single use plastics from our packaging we have switched from wrapping our products in plastic to a more sustainable cardboard alternative for our lifting systems.
Now, more than 80% of our products are shipped around the UK and the rest of the world in our new cardboard packaging alternative, which is 100% recyclable.
Not only is our cardboard containers more sustainable, it is more durable and robust ensuring our lifting systems are kept in the highest standard, offering optimum protection during transportation around the world to our customers.
We offer three different sizes of cardboard packaging which is suitable for our product range including our PORTA GANTRY A-frames, PORTA GANTRY RAPIDE, and Davit arm systems.
Our dispatch team neatly pack our products into their boxes as well as placing the correct Assembly and Operation Guide, to ensure our customers receive their goods to the highest quality. For an added bonus, our carboard containers are more stackable allowing our customers to easily stack and store our lifting systems more efficiently.
