Our TDAVIT is lightweight and portable lifting system, and can be custom designed and manufactured to specifically meet our customers’ individual needs. Truly pioneering, it offers a lifting capacity of up to 600kg and 360° rotation under a full load.

Our TDAVIT are ideal for use in confined space access and egress. Different column heights and beam options enable access to a variety of specific work environments and the durable design will ensure years of trouble free use.

What is a davit?

Originally used on boats to lower lifeboats, davit lifting equipment consists of a small crane designed to safely lower heavy equipment and personnel. Our portable davits can also be deployed over the side of tall buildings.

Davit Configurations

The TDAVIT can be used with a wide range of lifting appliances, enabling customers to tailor their lifting solution to site and job-specific requirements. This flexibility enables customers to utilise existing lifting appliances in many cases, enabling efficient use of assets.

• Manual or electric winches can be mounted onto the TDAVIT column, with cables feeding through sheaves to the front of the davit.

• Manual or electric chain hoists can be hooked from the shackles on the head of the TDAVIT beam.

• Endless winches can be hooked from the shackles on the head of the TDAVIT beam for raising goods over greater distances.

TDAVIT Geared Trolley

The TDAVIT TDT Geared Trolley is lightweight, portable and has been designed to meet customer needs where the lifting and moving of equipment in tight spaces is a challenge.

• Universal kingpin that fits all Reid sockets

• ATEX Zone 2 certification as standard

• ATEX Zone 1 as optional upgrade

• Trolley can be traversed whilst under load [865mm to 1665mm]

• 360 degree rotation under load

• Can be combined with many manual or electrical hoists to completed lifting operations
