It was congratulations all round for us at REID Lifting, last week when we were named Small Business of the Year at the Welsh Business Awards.

We won the category open to businesses employing 75 full time workers or less, which was sponsored by the Wales Start-Up Festival. Managing Director Simon Luke said: “We’ve had a fantastic year, launching new ventures in Europe and the US and overhauling the whole operation to become more efficient and at the same time more sustainable. Our marketing campaigns have put us firmly in the spotlight and we’re gearing up for an even more exciting year in 2020.”

We received the award from TV presenter Gethin Jones at a black tie, red carpet event held at Cardiff’s City Hall. Simon added: “This trophy is for every single member of the team at REID who have all worked incredibly hard this year and shown the kind of drive and determination which has set us apart from our competition. It will take pride of place in our trophy cabinet, alongside our Queens Awards for Innovation and International Trade.”
